1. Never use soap and water to clean the furniture but only dust with soft lint – free cloth.
2. To dust the intricate design in wood, only use a natural bristle paintbrush .
3. Don’t expose furniture to continuous direct sun light to avoid the damage.
4. Place at least 12 inch away from extreme temperature such as air conditioner.
5. Gently lift, open and close door, lids and drawers.
6. Sit only on structures designed from that purpose.
7. Do not allow animal ( dog and cat) sit on your furniture
8. Follow the manufacturer’s care instruction

After wooden contemporary furniture,  proudly we are , pt. medulla perkasa indonesia coming back in launching our new product named ” SURA ” collections which rattan is used for the material.

Medulla  choose rattan material for Sura collections to show our awareness about eco-friendly product, also to prove our concern in increasing our friendly environment. Rattan which exist in Indonesia, are climbing palms and belong to family Calamoideae. Referred to as cane, rattan item is solid and strong and can be bent into various shapes and used for whole form for furniture. Rattan grows in a long slender stem, also in a manner similar to a vine. The outer portion of the stem is extremely hard and durable as the inner portion and the stem is softer and porous. The diameter and length of rattan according to the species of rattan can be as long as 150 feet. And this rattan furniture are colored use water base and natural treatment which made of natural material.

Sura collections is the result of our improving and achieving with the high quality of rattan . We treat and bend to get a unique design and assure the quality product to delight market satisfaction . Also It’s not difficult to maintain the furniture made of rattan, as we can only wipe with dry cloth to keep it clean and use slightly damp cloth to remove spillages.

Tunjung has also received patent rights from his colaborative works. After years living abroad, he returned to Indonesia and forayed into rattan and wood-work design which has been his long time passion. His exposure of living in different cultures East and West gives unique perceptions towards design understandings.

He has been making effort to create intercultural influences in his design solutions. Tunjung has been working in collaboration with Medulla creative team, together they have been working on many interior design and architectural projects.

His recent work is a trendy and explorative rattan collection called SURA. The quest is to integrates traditional craft-making process with modern aesthetical point of view, as well as creating different structure configuration, production methods on naturally sourced materials. The results are wide range of unique and sustainable products. Amanoty chair, on of SURA collection receives Singapore Furniture Design Award in 2008
